comment on the lecture

I dont know why it wont let me post comments on the class room bolg so i posting it on  my blog

As I was reading the end of the thought of Siddhartha, it kind of sounded like yin and yang. But any how I wanted to make sure that get what is going on so I will try to make connection between Nihilism, Dadaism and now Siddhartha. Nihilism is the fact that the German were torn apart because they had lost the war and they felt there was no meaning to life. The mood at the time was very gloomy, and it made the people question the values. So they stated to from new values. This is when Dadaism comes in, which is basically questing the current values and trying to form new values. This is was Siddhartha is try to show.

  1. Maybe because the post was too long. Next time use a smaller quote and try to analyze it closely. Nice job though connecting Dada to Siddhartha.

  2. If I say choose a passage I mean just choose a quote. Passage and quote mean the same thing. So next time just choose a passage that you like that is long enough that it is a complete idea but short enough that you can analyze it closely.

  3. Great job on connecting all three (Dadaism, Nihilism, and Siddhartha).. It took me a while to connect all three and make sense of it.
